Our Onboarding team is responsible for onboarding new clients and periodically reviewing existing ones. This involves collecting and verifying documentation to confirm a client's identity, ownership structure, and the nature of their business. For corporate clients - which make up the bulk of investment banking relationships - this can be complex, involving multi-layered ownership structures across multiple jurisdictions.,

  • Helping the team collect and check client information and documents
  • Learning how Know Your Customer (KYC) checks are completed
  • Supporting regular reviews of existing client records to keep them current
  • Keeping information accurate and up to date in internal systems
  • Helping prepare updates or reports for the team
  • Taking part in team meetings and learning about onboarding processes
  • Supporting small improvement projects where appropriate, with guidance from colleagues
  • Following company policies and compliance guidelines

Onboarding requirements

If you are offered the internship role, before starting work at CACIB you will need to provide some further information. This is done through completing an online form sent by Reed Screening. Below briefly outlines what will be needed from you, however each case is individual and may require further information.

  • a copy of your right to work - this is a form of ID that proves you have the right to work in the UK
  • a copy of a proof of address
  • your name history - you will need to enter any names you've had since birth on the online form
  • your address history - you will need to enter all the addresses you've lived at in the last 5 years on the online form
  • your activity history - you will need to enter details of all periods of education, employment, unemployment, voluntary work or other activities (e.g. travelling) in the last 3 years on the online form.

For education or employment we'll need the following information:

  • start and end dates of the period
  • name and address of the college, university or employer
  • the name and business email address of a referee at the organisation who can confirm that you attended or worked there.
    degree with a financial focus preferred
  • good written and verbal communication
  • attention to detail
  • analytical thinking
  • data literacy., you are aged 18-25 at the start of the internship
  • you are a UK resident/have the right to work in the UK
  • you have a bachelor's degree.
