About the Role: We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Associate to join our Investment Grade (IG) Credit Sales desk in London. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role at the heart of our Credit franchise, offering direct exposure to institutional clients and the full Credit Chain — spanning Origination, Syndicate, Trading, and Research. You will own a dedicated account base from day one, with the scope and quality of your coverage expanding as you demonstrate capability. The expectation is clear: move quickly from guided execution to autonomous operation.

What You'll Do:

  • Client Coverage & Sales: Manage relationships with asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, hedge funds, and banks, marketing primary and secondary IG credit opportunities. Execute secondary market transactions, progressing rapidly to independent execution. Deliver timely market colour, trade ideas, and research content to clients.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new opportunities within your account base. Support coordinated client approaches with Syndicate, Trading, and Research partners. Track KPIs and maintain accurate client activity records.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the broader Credit Chain on new issue roadshows, reverse roadshows, and client conferences. Coordinate with internal Relationship Managers on joint coverage activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of desk tools and processes.
  • Market Expertise: Build deep knowledge of IG credit markets, issuer dynamics, and the regulatory landscape. Participate in desk strategy discussions and industry events.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in fixed income sales, trading, or a related capital markets role.
  • Strong understanding of credit markets and institutional client dynamics.
  • Commercially driven with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, MarketAxess, or Tradeweb is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and client classification rules.
