Job summary:

  • Portfolio Management – Energy & Infrastructure | London
  • A leading international bank is looking for an Associate-level professional to join its Energy & Infrastructure Group in London, taking direct ownership of a designated portfolio of 100+ Project Finance and Corporate Finance transactions.

Portfolio Management Duties, in relation to allocated portfolio files, will include:

  • Taking direct responsibility for a designated portfolio of files and ensuring its general monitoring
  • Preparing waiver requests and annual reviews
  • Liaising with external third parties (e.g. Borrowers, Facility Agents)
  • Liaising with RPC HO and London teams (risk department) for all credit-related matters
  • Complying with all internal certification requirements and ensuring all the files placed under the jobholder’s direct responsibility are KYC compliant at all times
  • Maintaining all internal portfolio-related systems up to date
  • Providing the EIG sector heads with all relevant information pertaining to files under their sectorial responsibility

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Candidate criteria:

  • Minimal education level: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
  • Academic qualification / Speciality: Finance or business degree from a recognised business school or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Project Finance portfolio management or related credit work.
  • Required skills: CP8 - Certified
  • Technical skills required: Financial modelling experience; the candidate should be knowledgeable of PF financial models and should be able to amend/run sensitivities on complex project models.
