Job Summary: CACIB is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Bond eTrading IT development team working in London. The role is for a Business Analyst, with good Project Management skills, to work directly with the business users; managing their requests and working on projects to plan, test and deliver new functionality to the bank’s E-Trading platform. The candidate will have good knowledge of financial instruments in the Fixed Income perimeter and more specifically on Bonds as well as experience in regulatory subjects (MFID, MAD/MAR...). The team works extensively on the ION platform, therefore experience on ION is a big advantage and will be preferred. Additionally, the team works with an in-house developed Electronic trading platform for Bonds which allows CA-CIB Traders and Sales to contribute prices, negotiate and execute Bonds trades. The candidate will work with technical teams to ensure that eBusiness infrastructure and applications are properly working and contribute to more productive global services, driving for innovation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, Drawing up Specification, Testing new and enhanced products for the following Capital Markets Product Lines: Bonds (Credit / EGB / UST / KTB / JGB), Structured Products, Inflation Desk within the D2C and D2D Market space.
  • Capture functional needs and specify them.
  • Test the eTrading platform in coordination with the Quality Acceptance teams.
  • Ensure successful UATs and plan change management with end users.
  • Ensure that the developments meet the functional requirements of the business and that of the roadmap defined with the sponsors.
  • Ensure compliance with the quality assurance policy.
  • Contribute to project management (estimation, priority, etc.).
  • Integration of ION, Evolution of software components + modification/corrections.
  • For the in-house development part: specifications + preparation of non-regression tests + coordination with the project management of other delivery teams.

Role Requirements:

  • Clear communication & systematic reasoning.
  • Project Management skills and proven track record.
  • General understanding of financial markets and products, in particular FI.
  • Strong experience working with Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
  • Experience supporting a live EFI Trading environment.
  • Strong experience working with support teams, project teams & end users.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with key stakeholders and to train new members of the team.
  • Contribution to knowledge management and skills development.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Minimal education level: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
  • Academic qualification / Speciality: Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in computer science, maths, physics or engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in IT for capital markets (business, products, applications). Strong experience leading project and managing deliveries for Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
