We are seeking an Intern to assist and support the COO of the Credit platform. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in financial markets and a background in business, statistics, or maths. The intern will be involved in various aspects of business management, including market analysis, P&L production, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Management team in preparing presentations for Primary Credit
- Participate in the analysis of markets and league tables
- Perform daily Credit P&L production and related commercial analyses for Primary Credit Management
- Maintain the intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues and pipelines
- Help in reviewing, updating, maintaining, and implementing Policies and Procedures of Primary Credit
- Assist the Global Credit Business Manager in ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
- Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent
Experience
- Previous experience in support functions such as Trading/Sales support or Middle Office is desirable
- Experience in DCM is desirable but not essential
Required skills
- Team player with the ability to function in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Strong interest in financial markets and confidentiality handling
- Familiarity with bond products and a good understanding of the capital markets
Technical skills required
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
