Key Responsibilities
- Manage the closing and settlement of secondary loan trades, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Review finance documentation and prepare, validate and execute all required transfer documentation, engaging legal counsel where appropriate.
- Liaise with lenders, agent banks, borrowers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trade settlements.
- Ensure transferability conditions, legal requirements and KYC obligations are fully satisfied prior to closing.
- Partner with Operations to confirm accurate cash flows, fee payments and settlements.
- Maintain accurate trade records across systems including ClearPar and Loantrak.
- Manage documentation, audit trails and ongoing requirements such as amendments, waivers and lender communications.
Candidate Criteria
- Minimal education level: High school / Secondary school / A levels / AS levels / IB Academic qualification / Speciality.
- Educated to A level grade (or equivalent), a degree within a relevant discipline would be seen as advantageous.
- Proven experience in loan closing and secondary loan trading environments.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and navigate complex finance documentation.
- Solid understanding of agent bank practices, settlement mechanics, and KYC requirements.
Required Skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with precision and minimal supervision.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across front office, legal and operations teams.
- Technical skills: strong working knowledge of ClearPar and syndicated loan processes.
