We are seeking an Intern to assist and support the COO of the Credit platform. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in financial markets and a background in business, statistics, or maths. The intern will be involved in various aspects of business management, including market analysis, P&L production, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Management team in preparing presentations for Primary Credit
  • Participate in the analysis of markets and league tables
  • Perform daily Credit P&L production and related commercial analyses for Primary Credit Management
  • Maintain the intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues and pipelines
  • Help in reviewing, updating, maintaining, and implementing Policies and Procedures of Primary Credit
  • Assist the Global Credit Business Manager in ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
  • Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent

Experience

  • Previous experience in support functions such as Trading/Sales support or Middle Office is desirable
  • Experience in DCM is desirable but not essential

Required skills

  • Team player with the ability to function in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • Strong interest in financial markets and confidentiality handling
  • Familiarity with bond products and a good understanding of the capital markets

Technical skills required

  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
