At Credera, we work with a range of clients and help them to level-up their capabilities in a partnership model. Through our Delivery Centre, you will help translate customer requirements and business intent into functional and non-functional requirements. In addition, you will collaborate with users and stakeholders ensuring alignment of requirements with strategic goals and outcomes. As part of this team, you’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, technology consultants and client stakeholders, giving you a chance to hone your skills across the latest tools & development and operational practices, whilst growing your career.
The central hub for this position is in Newcastle, but we welcome applicants from across the North-East. We operate a hybrid working policy with an expectation of 60% in office time. As a Business Analyst in Credera’s Delivery Centre capability, you’ll work as part of a close-knit team supporting one of our long-term client partnerships alongside architects, support engineers, and delivery leaders. Responsibilities and Skills- The ability to work collaboratively in a customer facing role
- Ability to discover, analyse, and document business requirements to support delivery of projects.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business and technology teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the “big picture” across business processes and systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of a range of Business Analysis tools and techniques
- Experience in BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or Excel
- Experience in delivering change in a number of industry areas, including the Public Sector
- A drive for self-improvement and learning new technologies
- Must be willing to apply for UK government security clearance
- Accountable for delivering defined work packages to agreed time and quality with limited supervision, following established processes and standards
- Able to plan own workload, contribute to short-term team planning, and escalate blockers while proposing practical solutions
- Supports more junior colleagues and takes ownership for implementing agreed improvements
- You will be required to pass BPSS screening for this role.
- Experience working in Agile teams and collaboration tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
- Relevant certifications (e.g. BCS/ISEB Business Analysis, Scrum, SAFe, or CDMP).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in using AI in application of the role through advanced prompting techniques.
