Overview
Salesforce Functional Lead (Field Service), Inside IR35 Contract
Reporting to their assigned Project / Delivery Lead, we are looking for a Salesforce Field Service Functional Lead contractor (4-6 months) who will be responsible for:
- Working with clients to define and design Salesforce Field Service solutions that meet business needs and align with the Statement of Work.
- Leading project teams in the successful delivery of Salesforce Field Service implementations, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the design and delivery of Salesforce Field Service implementations, from solution architecture to deployment.
- Facilitate client workshops, including requirement-gathering sessions.
- Contribute towards improving best practice and implementation patterns for all Credera engagements.
- Guide Operational Team in both Waterfall and Agile based projects for clients.
- Responsible for owning and contributing to the High Level Design for a Project.
- Own, contribute to and refine the user stories in a project.
- Occasionally work independently on consultancy led engagements.
- Assist sales with the preparation of Solution Summaries and Estimates (including pre-sales discovery workshops).
- Review and sign-off Solution Summaries and estimates produced by Sales Teams.
- Plan and execute a deployment process based on Credera Standards as part of Project Delivery.
- Ensure certifications and up to date knowledge of Salesforce releases are maintained and provide support and guidance to Technical Delivery Team members to achieve this.
- Identify reusable assets (design patterns, principles, technical components) and ensure these are actioned.
- Support and provide mentorship to all members of your project team.
Experience and Key Competency Qualities for Success
Knowledge / Certification
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant
Nice-to-have Certifications
- Salesforce Certified App Builder
Skills & Experience
- Understanding of integration touchpoints: ERP (SAP, Oracle), GIS, telematics, IoT-driven predictive maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of scheduling & optimization techniques, including capacity planning, skills-based routing, and territory management.
- 5+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, with at least 2 end-to-end Salesforce Field Service implementations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
