Reporting to their assigned Project/Delivery Lead, the Salesforce Functional Lead will primarily be responsible for working with Clients to define and design a solution which meets the criteria outlined in their Statement of Work.

  • Lead a team in the successful delivery of a solution in line with what was sold.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and end users to analyse and design solutions.
  • Provide input into process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Lead the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions in alignment with client expectations and project scope.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and end users to analyze business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Guide and mentor project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce, offering strategic guidance to internal teams.
  • Conduct technical interviews in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Participate in Tech Lead forums and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Facilitate and lead client workshops, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Own and contribute to High-Level Design documentation and user story refinement.
  • Occasionally lead consultancy-led engagements independently.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including discovery workshops, solution summaries, and estimates.
  • Review and approve solution summaries and estimates prepared by Sales teams.
  • Plan and manage deployment processes in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date Salesforce certifications and release knowledge.
  • Identify and promote reusable assets such as design patterns, principles, and technical components.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the project team.

Desirable:

  • Jitterbit or Mulesoft experience.
  • Certified Administrator.
  • Advanced progress in either the Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification path.
