Business Change Managing Consultant, Technology Consulting

As a Managing Consultant you will have the opportunity to play an important part in shaping and developing our business change & transformation capability, with the support of an established and well positioned company with an impeccable delivery and transformation track record and customer base.
Here’s what you will do
Business Change consultants work with Credera clients and colleagues, leveraging technology to translate business ambition and intent into effective change. As a change specialist, you’ll help clients achieve their goals through a combination of advice and hands on delivery. Typically, you\’ll be intrinsic to joint client teams focused on achieving successful delivery and transformation.
Based out of any of our UK offices, this is a permanent role within our Management Consulting Function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite – either at client site (as required) or in your local Credera office (preferably London) We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities and Skills
Our experienced Business Change consultants must have strong business competence with a pragmatic approach to delivering solutions. Consultants need to have a combination of project and programme management, client management, and hands-on change skills; often gained while working for a top tier or boutique consulting business. Responsibilities will include:
- Working within large consulting teams to deliver agreed scope and being comfortable representing Credera within a client organisation.
- Helping to manage transformation resources (i.e. people, budget, technology) effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and reporting as required against milestones and metrics
- Analysis and examination of existing business processes, identifying areas of inefficiency, problems and potential opportunities for improvement along with appropriate milestones and metrics/measures (i.e. OKRs/KPIs/SLAs) Developing comprehensive transformation, change or communication strategies for clients that aligns with their short and longer-term goals
- Developing detailed plans and roadmaps, outlining the steps and transition phases for implementing many types of transformation
- Producing and delivering communication and engagement plans for the transformation
- Identifying issues and risks, and pro-actively problem solving and mitigating risks
- Working with technology and technical teams to maximise business value from technology transformations
- Identifying and engaging with users, team and stakeholders to address concerns, build consensus, and ensure buy-in
- Continually seeking the most efficient and innovative approach to delivery
Who you are?
You will have management consultancy experience or transferrable industry experience
You are perceptive, personable, culturally sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence.
You will be versatile and able to work across project management and project delivery roles
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
You will have strong analytical skills, with critical eye for detail to be able to identify areas for improvement in the business.
Typically, you’ll display competency in business transformation delivery and across one of more of our core capabilities of:
- Target operating model design and implementation
- Business change management and communications
- Breadth of sector expertise such as across Energy, Utilities, Financial Services, Commercial and Public Sector will be a big advantage.
- Specific ‘deep’ sector skills and experience
