The Accountant/Senior Accountant is responsible for managing full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients. The role ensures timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accurate maintenance of accounting records in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations.
  • Assist in year‐end closing, audit schedules, and tax computations.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
