We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and adaptable Junior HR Generalist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure across the full HR spectrum—from hiring and onboarding to culture‑building and operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who thrives in an evolving environment and enjoys building processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job ads, sourcing candidates (e.g., via LinkedIn), screening, and coordinating interviews as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with payroll coordination and statutory submissions (e.g., CPF contributions, IRAS reporting).
- Act as a first point of contact for ad-hoc HR queries.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, team events, and culture‑building activities.
- Help implement and improve HR policies and processes as the company scales.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations (e.g., guidelines from MoM).
- Assist in learning & development initiatives and performance review cycles.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations (supplies, pantry, equipment, vendor coordination).
- Liaise with external vendors (cleaning, IT support, office maintenance, etc.).
- Support travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and calendar coordination.
- Handle general office administration such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Assist with procurement and expense tracking.
- Ensure the office environment is organized, safe, and conducive to productivity.
- Support company events, workshops, and internal activities logistics.
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant HR experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Nice to Have
- Experience with HRIS or ATS tools (e.g., HReasily, Info‑tech, BambooHR).
- Interest with startup culture or prior experience in a startup.
