Creature Comforts is evolving fast. Behind every new clinic is a team that has to be found, engaged and hired well, and that's where you come in.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own recruitment end to end as we scale to 300+ employees within the next 18 months.

You'll join a newly built in-house talent function backed by a modern ATS that takes care of the repetitive admin, scheduling, compliance tracking, offer generation, so your time goes where it counts: building relationships with candidates and sourcing the people who'll shape what Creature Comforts becomes next.

  • Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role, managing the full hiring process end to end
  • A track record of sourcing candidates directly, Linked In, and beyond job boards
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with candidates and internal stakeholders alike
  • The organisation to manage multiple live roles at once without losing quality or pace
  • Comfort working within an ATS, with accurate data entry and pipeline management
  • An understanding of right-to-work requirements and recruitment compliance basics

It's a bonus, not a requirement, if you've also recruited clinical or regulated roles (veterinary, healthcare or allied health), used Teamtailor, Greenhouse or a similar modern ATS, explored AI tools in sourcing or screening.

We'd rather hear from a great recruiter who's excited to learn than rule anyone out on a checklist.

  • Recruitment delivery
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for clinical, operational and support roles, from brief to signed offer
  • Write clear, engaging job adverts and role profiles for our careers site and other channels
  • Coordinate shortlists, interview panels and feedback with hiring managers through our ATS-automated workflows
  • Issue offers, manage pre-employment checks and hand over smoothly into onboarding
  • Sourcing and pipeline building
  • Proactively source candidates through Linked In, direct outreach, talent pool development and specialist channels.
  • Build pipelines for high-volume and business-critical roles, so we're not starting from zero every time a vacancy opens
  • Represent Creature Comforts at career events, university open days and sector networking
  • Candidate experience and reporting
  • Be the main point of contact for candidates, with timely, professional and personal communication at every stage and aligned with our SLA’s
  • Gather candidate feedback and feed it back into how we improve
  • Track metrics — time-to-offer, source of hire, conversion rates, and keep the ATS accurate and current
  • What we can offer
  • Competitive compensation package
  • 200 hours annual leave plus bank holidays, and your birthday off after one year
  • Salary sacrifice pension (5% employee, 3% employer)
  • Healthcare incentive after 12 months
  • Genuine career development as we grow
  • A supportive, inclusive culture, and yes, dog-friendly workplaces
  • The chance to help build a talent function from the ground up, not just fill vacancies within one
  • We’ll be commencing interviews from

Monday 14th September , so we’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if you’re interested in joining us.
