Creatorville is a boutique strategic consultancy that helps companies build success in the creator economy. Now, as part of SWNS Media Group, we’re creating our own publishing network, launching original multi-platform content that engages audiences and generates revenue.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Social to spearhead our distribution and audience growth strategy. You will be the architect of how our content reaches the world. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will transform original video concepts into thriving digital communities. You’ll oversee everything from the granular details of video SEO and packaging, to the high-level strategy of multi-platform monetisation. If you are a data-driven storyteller who knows how to game the algorithm without losing the heart of the story, we want you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Creatorville’s distribution and audience team, including direct management of Channel Managers.
- Identify talent gaps and lead recruitment as we scale the team to support new production projects.
- Strategic Distribution & Publishing
- Own the social strategy for Creatorville Originals, ensuring “direct to audience” success across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Devise and execute launch strategies for new IP.
- Manage the full distribution lifecycle: channel management, packaging (thumbnails/titles), posting schedules, SEO, and active community management.
- Drive measurable increases in engagement, reach, and follower counts across all platforms.
- Revenue Focus: Optimise content for programmatic revenue, with a specific emphasis on maximising Facebook monetisation.
- Lead the rebranding and optimisation of existing social pages to align with the Creatorville vision.
- Act as a strategic stakeholder in pitches, providing expert insights on social video distribution for prospective clients.
- Scale “pop-up” social teams to manage distribution for commissioned projects during production phases.
- Provide consultancy on external propositions, ensuring social strategy is baked into every project from day one.
Skills & Attributes
- Social-first: An intuitive sense of what makes a thumbnail clickable and a video shareable.
- Analytical Mindset: You don’t just report numbers; you translate data into actionable creative pivots.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of building a network from the ground up.
- Operational Excellence: Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple genres simultaneously without losing quality.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to explain complex social strategies to non-digital stakeholders and clients.
- Paid Media Knowledge: Experience using paid social media to “spark” organic growth or support specific launches.
- Production Savvy: An understanding of the video production process to help “edit for the platform” during the post-production phase.
Salary & Benefits
The salary guide for the role is ÂŁ70,000 to ÂŁ80,000 depending on experience and skills. Creatorville also has a generous and growing list of employee benefits, including:
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days (+ Bank Holidays) per year
- Hybrid Working
- Enhanced Maternity Pay
- Life Assurance
- Enhanced Paternity Pay – 4 weeks full pay
- Contribution towards homeworking equipment
- Company-wide Summer Event and Christmas Party
- Paid Bereavement / Compassionate Leave
- Railcard reimbursement for regular travellers for work
- Sick Pay
- Your birthday off
- Subscription to Furthr
- Salary Sacrifice EV Car Scheme
