Creatorville is a strategic media business operating at the intersection of content, brands and the creator economy. As part of Attention, we make original TV shows, social content for our own channels, produce social-first creative for brands, and advise leading publishers and producers on how to win in the creator age.

Creatorville is seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead the operational delivery of video across the group. This newly created leadership position will drive consistency and excellence across Originals and Branded Partnerships, unifying production standards and workflows. Acting as the operational architect of a cohesive, multi-platform production ecosystem, the role will set the strategic direction and oversee the execution of all Creatorville’s video output.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee end-to-end production schedules for Attention Originals, managing resources across the department to ensure maximum efficiencies.
  • Track revenue and cost of Originals output to regularly report on performance to Senior leadership teams.
  • Ensure smooth operational functioning across the group for the production and delivery of all Branded Partnerships video content.
  • Manage overall video schedule from pitching to delivery, with a focus on resource and budget management to ensure client deadlines are met.
  • Manage the Production Managers who oversee day-to-day video output, allowing you to focus on elevating production standards to a singular, world-class benchmark.
  • Lead negotiations for music licensing, archive access, and technical procurement to ensure our teams have the best tools and rights in place.
  • Serve as the final authority on health and safety, risk assessments, duty of care, and media law compliance (Copyright, Ofcom, Data Protection) across all video output.
  • Design a sustainable recruitment and freelance strategy, ensuring a diverse, top-tier talent pool is available to meet the demands of a modern digital studio.
CANDIDATE CRITERIA
  • Extensive experience leading production at a senior level within a major media organisation, broadcaster, or high-end digital agency, with a deep, professional understanding of video (long and short-form), podcasts, and social-first content.
  • Excited to work in an evolving, energetic, high-growth start-up business.
  • A proven track record of managing "leaders of teams" with the ability to move seamlessly between high-level operational strategy and the granular details of complex production workflows.
  • Significant experience managing large-scale, departmental P&Ls, with the ability to forecast spend, optimise resources, and deliver maximum value across multiple workstreams.
  • A "systems-first" thinker with experience designing and implementing production frameworks that bring together disparate teams into a unified, efficient engine.
  • Exceptional communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at the highest levels of editorial and commercial leadership.
  • Robust knowledge of media law, copyright, and usage rights across global territories, alongside a deep commitment to rigorous health and safety and risk management protocols.
  • The ability to remain unflappable in a fast-paced environment, pivoting quickly between the immediate demands of client needs and the long-term planning of flagship series.
  • A passion for mentorship and a proven ability to build, lead, and retain diverse, high-performing production and technical teams.
