As a Staff Search Engineer, you'll help lead the design and ongoing evolution of CreatorIQ's real-time search platform â the core system that enables creator discovery across 30M profiles and billions of posts. You'll architect and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, develop high-performance APIs in Go, and ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and responsive at large scale. This role blends handsâon development with supportive technical leadership, contributing to architecture decisions and offering guidance to engineers as they build a fast, dependable, and impactful search experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities- Engage in backâend development to meet our product's evolving needs, ensuring robust, scalable, and highâperformance solutions.
- Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from conception to deployment, refinement, and scaling.
- Design, implement, and maintain ElasticSearch environments, aligning with the product's performance and scalability requirements.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and other team members to deeply understand and address user needs and business objectives.
- Uphold high standards in software development with a focus on clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous refinement of our development processes.
- Foster a culture of ownership where team members feel empowered and accountable for their contributions.
- 7-10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in computer science
- 3+ years of recent ElasticSearch experience or similar
- Capability to design and work with complex systems and high-load services.
- Inâdepth knowledge of ElasticSearch and familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
- Proven experience in Golang development or a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Solid foundation in computing theory, including OOP principles, database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL), and network interactions.
- Experience with REST API development, web application frameworks, testing frameworks, and version control systems (GIT).
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js), Java, particularly in building scalable, high-load services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Practical communication skills in English for working in an international team environment.
- Background in Laravel, Symfony Framework, or other significant frameworks is a plus.
- Experience or certifications in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of orchestration and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
- A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends.
