Production Manager | Experiential Events Agency
Central London
We’re looking for a hands‑on Production Manager to lead the operational delivery of live events, from technical and logistical planning through to on‑site build and strike. This is a role for someone with the confidence, drive and experience to take sole responsibility for their projects as part of a cohesive team.
We’re after someone well‑rounded who leans towards build and set & scenic, and is comfortable in SketchUp or Vectorworks. It would suit a Production Manager ready to step into the next phase of their career.
What you’ll do
- Deliver all production aspects of your events on time and on budget, with precise delivery of design elements to client and design quality expectations
- Create detailed supplier briefing packs so all sub‑contracted elements land at the right quality and budget
- Manage production budgets, including provisional spend reconciliation before go‑live and full reconciliation within 5 working days of the event
- Lead crew, technicians and contractors on site, ensuring safe and efficient builds and de‑rigs
- Act as primary point of contact for production partners and external stakeholders in pre‑production and on site
- Run regular production status meetings with lead producers and attend client meetings to discuss production requirements
- Review and develop your supplier base.
- Work with the wider production team to maintain an industry‑leading H&S approach
- Keep up with industry news, new products, technology and suppliers, and share it with the team
- Help improve our production processes and bring efficiencies through innovative solutions
What you’ll bring
- Proven, hands‑on experience as a Production Manager in an experiential events agency, with a clear track record of successful delivery
- Strong build experience
- The ability to interpret design drawings and specifications and turn them into clear supplier packs
- The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
