Mission: turn Locals from a platform into a cultural movement by building a world‐class social presence and an active creators' community that drives sign‐ups, engagement, and brand love. Your role will directly fuel our growth by creating content people share, managing a buzzing creators' club, and building authentic partnerships with talent.

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • Creative instincts: Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and short‐form video creation skills.
  • Platform fluency: Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X — including trends, algorithms, and formats.
  • Community mindset: Proven experience in nurturing online spaces into active, collaborative hubs.
  • Execution speed: Ability to move quickly from idea to publish without sacrificing quality.
  • Data‐driven approach: Comfort with metrics, analytics, and using insights to iterate on content and community activations.
  • Proactive ownership: Self‐starter attitude, constantly generating and executing new ideas without waiting for briefs.

Experience we are looking for:

  • 2–5 years in social media, content, or community roles — ideally within tech, startups, or the creator economy.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social audiences and engagement.
  • Hands‐on experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Figma, Descript, or Notion.
  • Experience moderating or managing an online community.

  • Deliver 2+ viral or widely shared campaigns per quarter, highlighting creator stories or platform value.
  • Build a thriving Creators Club (Locals Creators Hub).
  • Triple active creator membership within 12 months.
  • Maintain daily engagement from at least 40% of members through AMAs, challenges, webinars, and collaborative posts.
  • Launch one high‐quality creator activation per week.
  • Collaborate with 20+ Locals creators per quarter to produce original content that feels authentic to them and showcases Locals.
  • Capture and publish event‐driven content (behind‐the‐scenes, interviews, creator spotlights) within 48 hours of events.
  • Drive creator sign‐ups and brand sentiment.
  • Increase inbound creator sign‐ups via social by at least 30% within the first year.
