As Solution Design & BI Lead, you will architect the data foundation that connects our global operations into a single, trusted view of performance. Leading a distributed team of analysts and process managers, you’ll bridge regional data realities with executive strategy—designing the workflows, standards, and Power BI ecosystem that turn fragmented, locally owned data into enterprise-wide insight.
This role is built for a hands-on leader who understands global complexity: different systems, different maturity levels, and different priorities—yet one executive expectation for accuracy, consistency, and speed.
What You’ll Do:
- Define what matters: Partner with senior stakeholders to establish, validate, and operationalize enterprise KPIs aligned to growth, efficiency, and performance.
- Design the BI ecosystem: Architect scalable, intuitive Power BI dashboards and data models that translate complex data into clear executive narratives.
- Standardize & govern: Create global data standards, templates, and governance frameworks to harmonize reporting across diverse business units.
- Master messy data: Lead data mapping, migration, and integration efforts across non-standardized and unstructured systems, ensuring coverage and consistency.
- Automate at scale: Architect automated ETL workflows that eliminate manual reporting, improve data integrity, and enable near real-time insights.
- Lead & elevate the team: Set technical best practices, mentor analysts, and build a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption & trust: Lead change management efforts to move the organization from spreadsheets and shadow reporting to governed, self-service BI.
What You’ll Need:
- Global BI leadership experience: 8+ years in data analytics, BI architecture, or data engineering, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise-scale solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and Excel, with a strong portfolio of executive-facing dashboards.
- Advanced SQL skills and deep experience with data modeling, ETL design, and complex transformations.
- Proven success integrating fragmented, unstructured, or non-standardized data across global environments.
- Experience leading and scaling technical teams while influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong commitment to data quality, accuracy, documentation, and sustainable processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new tools and standards in decentralized or resistant organizations.
