Creative Technology UK are delighted to have the opportunity for a Rental Co-ordinator to join the team in Crawley! This position involves the assessment and planning of rental resources to best support the company’s activities while maximising external revenue through dry hire sales. Using the rental system, the Rental Co-ordinator will be involved in reviewing allocation of rental stock to maximise the utilisation of assets, while maintaining the highest standards of delivery.
In addition, the coordinator's responsibilities include:
- Sourcing direct replacements and alternatives for oversubscribed items or equipment outside of inventory.
- Processing and growing our dry hire revenue.
- Having a good understanding of budgetary requirements and effective negotiating skills.
- Maintaining a personable & approachable personality, alongside effective communication, numeracy skills, an eye for detail, and remaining calm when working under pressure - as an individual, or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Function as front-line support for onsite projects.
- Maximise usage and revenue of Creative Technology Europe owned equipment while minimising external spend.
- Use strong knowledge and interpersonal skills to resolve equipment shortfalls, minimising external costs.
- Coordinate with the Projects team on equipment availability and provide alternative solutions when requested equipment is not available.
- Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure sub-hired solutions are found while maintaining the quality and standards expected.
- Nurture and grow relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Manage external Dry Hire work from inception to completion.
- Support the business with additional ad hoc requirements.
- Ensure all projects have the required equipment to provide the quality that CT has a reputation for.
- Maximise equipment usage by taking an overview of projects and requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure a high level of supply chain quality.
- Stock control for rental businesses using the ERP System.
- Monitor shortfalls and advise HODs on purchase options.
- Monitor and purchase consumable items.
- Manage customer and vendor data on the rental system including adding and amending clients.
- Provide front line support to the business for the rental software.
- Support other teams when and where required such as purchasing.
- Be aware of and adhere to the company HSEQM policy as defined in the policy manual including providing support to audits.
