Transactions Tax Senior Manager | Reading | Clear Route to Director

If you’re already operating at Senior Manager level but feel your route to Director is vague, this role offers something more structured.

You’ll join a growing Transactions Tax team where you’ll work closely with Partners, have strong visibility across the firm and take real ownership of client relationships and new business opportunities.

The role has been created through growth, and the intention is to develop someone towards Director. Within your first six months, you should have a clear understanding of what you need to demonstrate to make that progression.

You’ll lead a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts, restructures, due diligence and transaction structuring, working with owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies and international corporate groups.

Because the majority of deals are UK-based, you’ll remain closely involved in the technical work rather than spending most of your time coordinating international workstreams.

This is also a genuinely commercial role. You’ll own client relationships, help originate new work, identify opportunities across the wider client base and contribute to how the Transactions Tax offering develops.

You’ll work closely with an award-winning Corporate Finance team, giving you strong internal visibility and access to a consistent flow of transaction opportunities.

The role is based in Reading with hybrid working, typically two to three days in the office.
