Transactions Tax Manager | Reading | Make Transactions Your Main Focus

If transaction tax is the part of your corporate tax role you enjoy most, this is an opportunity to make it the centre of what you do.

You’ll join a growing specialist Transactions Tax team in Reading, working closely with an award-winning Corporate Finance practice and advising on a strong flow of UK deals.

The work is broad and genuinely advisory.

You’ll lead on acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts, restructures, tax due diligence and transaction structuring, with additional exposure to international tax and employment-related securities.

A major advantage of the role is that most transactions are UK-based.

That means you can stay close to the technical work and client advice rather than spending much of your time coordinating international teams.

You’ll work with owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies and international groups, building direct relationships with clients, Partners and Corporate Finance colleagues throughout the deal lifecycle.

There is also room to grow with the team.

You’ll support junior colleagues, contribute to business development and play a part in developing the Transactions Tax offering as demand continues to increase.

The role is based in Reading with hybrid working, typically two to three days in the office.

If you’re ACA or CTA qualified with strong transaction tax experience and want a role where deals are the focus rather than an occasional part of corporate tax, this is well worth exploring.
