Responsibilities:
- Deal with a range of challenging and interesting tasks that will make the most of—and develop—your existing skills.
- Focus on owner‑managed businesses.
- Work on international business tasks and tax matters.
- Handle the tax affairs of the company and serve as the tax advisor to the owner‑managers, helping them find the balance between their personal tax obligations and those of their company.
- Work on tax matters and deal with tax issues related to acquisitions and sales.
- Engage in R&D matters, loan relationships, share schemes, tax due diligence, EIS/SEIS, and corporate group restructuring.
- Assist with and review the work of more junior staff members and provide coaching and training as needed.
- Liaise with other departments within the firm, including the corporate tax team and audit teams.
- Shadow more senior tax staff, supporting them on projects and client relationships.
