Ref:5392c Job description Advisory work, client ownership and room to grow You know how to advise clients.

You know how to manage work.

The next step is finding a role that lets you do both with more visibility and influence.

This growing Maidstone team, part of a national accountancy firm, is looking for a Private Client Tax Manager who is comfortable being both strategic and hands-on.

The client base is varied and relationship-led.

You would work with high-net-worth individuals, directors, family businesses, trusts and professionals who need clear, practical advice across personal tax and wider private client matters.

You would take ownership of a portfolio, overseeing compliance work while also contributing to advisory and planning projects.

The work may include income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts, family wealth planning, business owners’ tax issues and structuring matters where clients need careful, commercially aware guidance.

There is also a wider role to play in the growth of the team.

You would support business development, build relationships, identify opportunities and work closely with colleagues across different service lines to provide joined-up advice to clients.

There is flexibility, progression and the chance to take on a visible role within a growing regional private client team backed by the strength of a national firm.

This would suit a Private Client Tax Manager who wants more than a narrow portfolio role: someone who enjoys advisory work, client contact and helping develop a practice with long-term potential.

All conversations will be handled in confidence.
