Most Corporate Tax Technical roles sit within firms where technical excellence is valued, but influence can be diluted by layers, committees and established structures. This opportunity is different. We're working with a growing tax consultancy that has built its reputation around tax. The business continues to invest heavily in its UK tax capability and is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Technical Director to play a key role in developing the practice. This is not a back-office technical role.

You will be the firm's technical authority across a broad range of corporate tax matters, supporting partners and client-facing teams on complex advisory work, providing technical leadership, developing internal knowledge and helping shape the firm's corporate tax offering as it continues to grow. The technical work is broad and genuinely advisory-led. Recent projects have included corporate acquisitions and disposals, tax due diligence, group reorganisations, debt restructurings, inbound investment planning, international structuring and complex cross-border transactions.

The client base includes entrepreneurial businesses, private equity-backed companies and multinational groups, providing exposure to a wide range of UK and international corporate tax issues. The firm combines a genuinely international reach with a less hierarchical environment than many traditional firms. Technical expertise is highly visible, senior people have direct access to decision-makers and there is a clear opportunity to influence the direction of the business.

For someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems but also wants a seat at the table when strategic decisions are being made, this is a rare opportunity. The progression prospects are equally compelling. As the business continues to expand, there is significant scope to build your profile, influence and long-term position within the firm.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Manager, Director or existing Technical Director who enjoys the intellectual challenge of corporate tax but is looking for a team where their expertise can have a wider impact on clients, colleagues and the future direction of the practice.
