You will work with various individuals and departments across the practice, including the corporate tax director and client team. The role involves providing tax advisory services for a wide range of companies and handling their tax compliance matters. You’ll research corporate tax matters for OMB clients, among others. You’ll also work closely with the accounts team, working with the client on the accounts preparation process. Additionally, you’ll work on the corporate tax computations for the more complex clients, ensuring that the work is carried out to the highest possible standards. Finally, as this is a more senior role, you’ll oversee and guide more junior members of the team from time to time. The team deals with a range of corporate tax issues.

This role is diverse and can include areas such as:

  • R&D
  • Group tax planning
  • EMI share option schemes
  • Share valuations
  • Capital allowances
  • Patent Box
  • Incorporations and other duties

Training will be provided to further understanding and expertise. This is a client-facing role that involves a high level of interaction. As such, you must know how to communicate complex and technical tax issues. The ability to work as part of a team or alone and great organisational skills are also key.
