Take a leading role advising trustees, executors and family offices while developing a clear case for promotion to Director.
You will join a specialist Private Wealth team within an established accountancy and advisory firm. The practice advises trusts, estates, high-net-worth individuals and family offices, providing the technical complexity expected at Senior Manager level alongside long-term client relationships.
The role involves managing a substantial portfolio and acting as a trusted adviser on complex private client matters.
Responsibilities extend beyond reviewing work and managing deadlines. You will oversee client relationships, billing, delegation and workflow, while identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and strengthen existing relationships.
Complex planning and advisory matters are handled closely with senior leadership, with the Senior Manager expected to contribute their own judgement rather than simply implement decisions made elsewhere.
The position also offers the opportunity to influence the development of the team. This includes mentoring junior colleagues, supporting Managers and contributing to business development and the wider growth of the Trust and Family Office practice.
Significant client responsibility, visible leadership and a defined route towards Director are central to the opportunity.
The firm provides tailored coaching to help Senior Managers develop the leadership, client-management and commercial skills required at the next level. Longer-term Partner prospects are also available.
The role would suit a CTA or ACA-qualified private client tax professional with substantial experience advising trusts and estates. Exposure to family offices and estate administration would be valuable, although the latter is not essential.
