We are seeking a proactive and professional Registered Manager to lead the operational management of a specialist registered care home located in Witham, Essex. The service has been developed to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability and/or physical disability support needs, including mobility issues, epilepsy and dysphagia.
The service supports 18 people in three detached bungalows. The accommodation has been carefully designed to meet the 24-hour needs of individuals with a range of needs and special requirements.
As the Registered Manager you will ensure that the service remains of the highest quality, meeting all CQC and contract requirements and that this is demonstrated through comprehensive quality and contract monitoring processes.
You will ensure that the care and support delivered is truly person centred and provided in accordance with agreed care plans.
Your role will include responsibility for:
- Recruitment and selection of staff matched to needs of service users
- Management and deployment of staff to meet the needs of service users
- Ensuring continuous, reliable and consistent service delivery at all times
- Compliance with CQC & commissioner expectations and standards
- Contract management and achievement of planned outcomes
- Effective prevention and management of incidents
- Staff support, supervision, coaching and training
- Team building and management
- Excellent customer care to all stakeholders
- Prompt reporting of repairs and property management issues
