We are looking for caring and proactive individuals to provide personal care to two service users with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs, based in Wellinborough.
Staff will liaise with the district nurses and health professionals to carry out all identified social care tasks and healthcare takes assigned by them, whilst ensuring and outcome-focused service which is responsive to individuals changing needs. This service user will need assistance with medication and shaving, but you will also be involved with supporting them with activities within the community, as they love to go shopping and being out and about.
Male Support Worker Duties:
Provision of personal care to service users in their own homes
Provide support to individuals with cooking and cleaning
Medication administration as directed by health professionals
Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
Work to reduce loneliness and assist service users to engage in community activities where possible

No Previous Experience Needed
We provide all of your training as you begin your new career in care, including the opportunity to work towards earning your QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. All employees have access to our training system where, through a combination of in person and e-learning courses, you can learn the skills required to develop in your role and progress toward senior roles.
We offer full time and part time work, as well as sleep in shifts. You will work within the community for this role and you must be comfortable with travelling around Wellingborough to individual's homes to provide care.
