We are looking for volunteers to join us at our Wakefield services. The volunteer will be actively assisting with setting up and running sessions. The role will include:

  • Preparing for the activity such as setting up tables and moving chairs
  • Setting up the board games, arts and crafts materials
  • Making refreshments for people attending the activity, handing out cups of tea and biscuits
  • Providing a fun and engaging activity for people attending and promoting the activity to other service users who are not currently attending
  • Tidying away the materials and equipment at the end of each session

Our service users are particularly interested in taking part in indoor activities such as sensory play, board games, and movie nights.

As a volunteer with Creative Support, we offer:

Preferred hours per week/time commitment: Flexible days, any time after 10am.

Volunteer Duties:

  • Setting up for the activity, moving tables and chairs if necessary
  • Assisting with the activity
  • Coming up with ideas for new sessions
  • Clearing away at the end of the session
  • Helping to promote the sessions to service users
  • Preparing refreshments
