Creative Support is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Recovery Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting individuals with mental health needs. Our scheme consists of 7 self-contained flats within Newcastle and is part of the city's strategy to provide a wider range of living options for vulnerable people. The service aims to increase independence, foster community connections, and develop social networks, helping prevent admissions into long-term residential care or hospital and eventually supporting individuals to move back to their own homes or a less supported environment.

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to tenants, enabling them to participate in all aspects of everyday life and achieve their outcomes and goals. Your role will involve positive communication and engagement, demonstrating unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will work within a positive behaviour support framework, accepting responsibility and growing in confidence as a skilled practitioner. This role requires the ability to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.

We provide relevant training, including accredited health and social care diplomas through our training academy. You will work flexibly on a rota, which may include evenings, weekends and nights.
