We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Business Development Officer to join our team - perfect for anyone looking to build their knowledge and begin a career in the charitable sector.
As a Business Development Officer, you will work closely with our Director of Business Development and Business Development Manager to engage in projects across our Tendering, Service Development and Social Value Teams.
Within Tendering, you'll learn to work on all parts of the bid writing process, including feasibility analysis, research, gathering input from local managers and writing quality submissions. You'll have a key role in developing our social value proposals as well as supporting the delivery of initiatives, which can include liaising with councils, community partners, and holding activities & events.
To excel in the role, you will be able to use your initiative and communicate effectively. You will need to be well-organised, hard-working and flexible to navigate multiple deadlines and a fast-paced environment. You will have strong practical writing abilities, as well as confidence with IT, research and problem-solving.
We have a strong team ethos, and you will receive structured and on the job training alongside daily informal support. Our Trainee role offers an exciting development pathway, with opportunities for career progression within our Business Development Teams after 12 months.
