The role of Quality Officer by Experience is newly developed in 2026, which will significantly contribute to quality assurance across the organisation. You will be part of an established Quality team and will contribute to our audit and social care governance processes. This exciting new role is part of Creative Support’s Coproduction Strategy, encouraging those currently engaged with Creative Support’s care and support to have a greater awareness of and contribution to the running and development of the organisation from grass roots to board.
Key Areas
- Using your first-hand experience as an individual who has current lived experience of the services and care that Creative Support provides, to assist the quality team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across the organisation.
- Promoting engagement across Creative Support among all those people we support, by offering opportunities for co-production and active involvement.
- Using your strengths and experiences to adopt a role on the quality reviewing team, which may lead to campaigns and good practice tools.
- To work as a team with colleagues in the Quality department.

- Specific areas of knowledge or experience to the role which may be drawn upon.

We hope to build up a portfolio/register of interests and specific areas of knowledge and experience with each expert, which will help in identifying the most appropriate person to the task at hand. The experience required for this role will be directly relating to current experience of receiving support or housing from Creative Support for at least 6 months – this role will use this perspective/expertise to add to the quality of the outcomes of support we provide.
The contribution of the Quality Officers with Experience is vital. It will bring a broader and more ‘customer focused’ perspective to the work of the Quality Team, with the aim of improving the quality of the services being delivered.
