We are seeking warm, caring individuals to provide personalised care and support on a relief basis at our extra care services, Fitzwilliam Court, in Hoyland, Barnsley. Fitzwilliam Court supports older people maintain their wellbeing and enjoy active, independent lifestyles. We offer a variety of shifts to meet your needs.

You will provide respectful and dignified personal care, emotional support, meal preparation, and assistance with daily tasks to maintain independence. Supporting medication management, encouraging participation in activities, and fostering social connections are key aspects of the role. You will also respond to changing needs and emergencies to ensure safe living environments.

A minimum of twelve months experience in care and support is essential. You must be compassionate, respectful, reliable, and accountable, with a strong duty of care. A reasonable standard of verbal and written English is necessary. You must be vigilant, responsive, and capable of handling the physical demands of the role.
