Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, dynamic and motivated person to join the team as a Senior Support Worker in one of our vibrant North East Lincolnshire Services. This position is based within one of our Cleethorpes services. Our services in North East Lincolnshire provide excellent care and support to individuals with a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and non-verbal communication requirements. As a Senior Support Worker, you will work alongside the existing management team to assist with the coordination and delivery of high-quality, outcome-focused, person-centred care to the people we support. You will be positive about supporting people to increase their independence and ensure that they are at the centre of all decisions made about their lives.

Senior Support Worker responsible for supervising and supporting a team, delivering outcome-focused care, and promoting independence and person-centred decision-making for people we support in North East Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities
- Supervising, empowering and mentoring a team of staff alongside the North East Lincolnshire management team.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and services run effectively.
- Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with people we support, families, friends and stakeholders.
- Provide outcome-focused care to empower people we support to lead healthy, safe, fulfilling, valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
- At least one yearβs experience in providing care and support to people with a range of complex support needs.
- Compassion, motivation, diligence and an ability to empathise with individuals.
- Welcoming, approachable, well-organised, and conscientious with good verbal and written communication skills.
Working pattern
Your full-time hours will be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service, including daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Hours will be split between on and off- rota as directed by your manager.
