We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our dedicated team of staff at the Salford Physical Disabilities Service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, coach, and manage the performance of a team of staff.
  • Oversee staff deployment to meet individual needs and preferences within available resources.
  • Identify training needs (both mandatory and service‑specific) and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to referrals, undertake initial assessments of need, and ensure all service users have co‑produced support plans with designated Key Workers.
  • Establish clear goals and pathways toward greater independence for service users, organising regular person‑centred reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with local multi‑disciplinary teams and community‑based agencies to provide holistic, wrap‑around support.
  • Maintain high standards of environmental safety and quality, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Facilitate service user engagement, involvement and peer support, and help ensure robust quality monitoring methods.
  • Provide exceptional customer care and proactively communicate with stakeholders about risk management and the welfare of the people we support.
