We are looking for highly-motivated, caring individuals to provide person-centred support to people with a learning disability at our personalised learning disabilities service in Salford. We would love to hear from people who have the genuine passion and drive to make a positive difference in our service users' lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care, practical and emotional, to people with a learning disability
  • Identifying and accessing opportunities for social inclusion with service users
  • Collaborating with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users
  • Assisting the line manager with the day-to-day running of the service

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will need to be flexible and able to deliver support in all aspects of daily living in a dignified manner.

This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week. Experience of working with people with a learning disability is desirable, but not essential. Above all, you must be warm, engaging, and committed to supporting our service users within a person-centred approach.

A clean, valid driving licence, and willingness to drive an automatic mobility vehicle, is essential. Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement - Equality Act 2010.

Creative Support's Development Pathway offers a structured induction and values-led training to help staff grow from entry-level to leadership roles. It empowers career progression through tailored learning aligned with national strategies and the WE CARE framework. Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
