Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Redditch, Worcestershire. Here we provide quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health needs.
Our vibrant supported living service in Redditch, Worcestershire is home to 14 service users living in self-contained flats. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including cooking/baking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts and many more! We are looking for someone with a great sense of humour and who is looking to join a friendly and energetic staff team.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, administering medication and lone working
- Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
- Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
The service has great public transport links and is a 5 minute walk away from the train station.
Qualifications
A minimum of twelve months experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs is essential. Strong communication skills and a \’can-do approach\’ are vital. You must be in good health and capable of performing all care tasks. You will receive a full local and corporate induction.

The flexible shift pattern includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. As a Creative Support Bank Staff member you will have access to our free app which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service and shifts, including directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
