We are looking for a compassionate individual to join our dedicated team as a Relief Support Worker at our Bury Learning Disability Service. Become an integral part of our friendly, established team, where you\’ll support people with learning disabilities to achieve their life goals and engage with their local community. Responsibilities

  • As a Relief Support Worker, provide respectful personal care, practical and emotional support, assist service users to participate in community activities, work flexible shifts over weekends including waking nights, develop warm and trusting relationships with service users, and collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent support.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months\’ experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is essential.
  • While a relevant professional qualification is desirable, a warm, person-centred approach is crucial.
  • As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you\’ll have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts nationwide and providing information on services and shifts, including directions.
