Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Here we provide quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health needs. Our vibrant supported living service in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire is home to 14 service users living in self-contained flats. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including: cooking/baking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts and many more! We are looking for someone with a great sense of humour and who is looking to join a friendly and energetic staff team. Your role will include: Providing personal care, administering medication and lone working Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest Full time hours (37.5 hours per week) and a willingness to work sleep ins The service has great public transport links and is a 5 minute walk away from the bus station. Previous experience is essential and you will receive a full local and corporate induction. This is a relief position, which enables you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you, which is ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities. The flexible shift pattern includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
