We are looking for warm, caring, and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Newton Aycliffe, Durham. Our vibrant supported living service supports individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health needs, and autism. We are committed to providing quality person-centred care and ensuring that our service users live valued and fulfilling lives.
In this role, you will develop and sustain warm & trusting relationships with our service users, while providing respectful, high-intensity personal care, as well as practical and emotional support. This will include assisting with cooking, cleaning, housework, and other life skills, alongside general administrative duties & housing management tasks. You will also ensure no two days are the same, engaging service users in a wide range of exciting activities within their homes, and out in the community.
As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in any area of the country. The app also provides information on the service and shifts, including directions. This position enables you to pick up shifts at times that suit you, making it ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities. You will be paid on a weekly basis via our Bank Payroll.
