Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of learning disability and mental health care needs. We are currently looking to add Relief Support Workers to our friendly teams in and around Leicester, Leicestershire.
In Leicester city and Leicestershire, we provide support across 16 services supporting over 100 adults with support needs. We are looking for confident, calm and person-centred individuals who can provide this support to our service users so that they can experience a valued life and enjoy the wide range of opportunities available to them for personal development. By providing this warm and responsive support you will be helping us to deliver care which promotes the rights and choices of our service users.
Your role will include:
- - Providing respectful personal care, administering medication, and help with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning,
- - Developing warm and trusting relationships with all individuals we support,
- - Support individuals to engage in a range of exciting activities inside the home and out in the community,
- - Collaborating with colleagues, families and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service.
This rewarding role will require flexibility and a minimum of twelve months prior experience is essential. We provide support in the following areas of Leicestershire: South Wigston, Oadby, City Centre, Kirby Muxloe, Quorn, Sileby, Market Harborough, Kibworth, Glenfield, Great Glen, Hamilton and Bruanstone
