We are currently recruiting warm, flexible, and motivated individuals to work as peripatetic Support Workers across Tyneside and Durham. You will provide person‑centred support to people living in bespoke developments, helping them thrive in their own tenancies.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Consett, and Hartlepool to support individuals with medication application, MAR sheet completion, personal care and community access.
- Building and maintaining warm, trusting relationships with service users.
- Travel expenses from the nearest base will be negotiated.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in person‑centred care.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to person‑centred care.
- Valid driver's licence (required for the large geographical area covered).
- Located in and eligible to work within the UK – this post will not be open to sponsorship under the UKVI scheme and we cannot accept applicants with Skilled Worker Visas.
Development Pathway and Training:
Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Creative Support’s Development Pathway offers a structured induction and values‑led training to help staff grow from entry‑level to leadership roles, empowering career progression through tailored learning aligned with national strategies and the WE CARE framework.
