We are currently recruiting warm, flexible, and motivated individuals to work as peripatetic Support Workers across Tyneside and Durham. You will provide person‑centred support to people living in bespoke developments, helping them thrive in their own tenancies. This role involves travelling across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Consett, and Hartlepool to support individuals with medication application, MAR sheet completion, personal care, and community access. Building and maintaining warm, trusting relationships with service users is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred support to individuals in their own tenancies.
- Travel across designated areas, including North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Consett, and Hartlepool.
- Assist with medication application, MAR sheet completion, personal care, and community access.
- Build and maintain warm, trusting relationships with service users.
Qualifications
- A minimum of twelve months’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to person‑centred care.
- A valid driver’s licence – essential due to the large geographical area covered.
- Travel expenses from the nearest base will be negotiated.
