Are you looking for a diverse role that is fun, stimulating and rewarding every day? Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Female Support Worker to join our friendly and passionate support team in Redcar, North Yorkshire. At this service we provide excellent care and support to 25 residents with a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, Autism and older individuals. We are a supported living and floating support service, visiting people in their own homes and encouraging them to access their community.

No two days will be the same at this service, we support a diverse range of people who love to engage in a wide range of exciting activities. You will not be required to provide personal care or administer medication. Your role will include:

  • Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
  • Working on key worker files and passing on key information to the team for the next visit
  • Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest

Full time and part time hours available, to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service. Shifts vary, ranging from 8am until 5pm Monday - Friday, with short shifts over the weekends.

Please note, being a driver with access to a car and a clean full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role. Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement - Equality Act 2010.

We are looking for Support Workers with excellent communication and listening skills, a willingness to learn and a passion for providing person-centred care and support in a bright and friendly environment. Previous care experience is preferred, but not essential for this role.
