We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the vibrant boroughs of Brent and Harrow. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to develop and co‑ordinate a stimulating, relevant range of activities for our clients. The work will be collaborative and goal‑oriented, aiming to improve wellbeing and enhance social inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate engaging activity sessions tailored to clients’ goals.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver activities that promote wellbeing and social inclusion.
- Provide on‑site, supportive management for activity sessions.
- Maintain knowledge of local community resources in Brent and Harrow to enrich activity programming.
Qualifications
- Proactive, creative, and patient with a warm, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience or interest in social care, particularly within older‑person services.
- Knowledge of the local community in Brent and Harrow is an advantage.
Working Hours & Location
Based across our services in Brent and Harrow, working 3–4 days a week between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some evenings and weekends may be required, so flexibility is essential.
