We’re looking for a passionate Gardening Volunteer to engage the people we support at one of our supported living services in Liverpool. Volunteering with Creative Support is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference, bringing joy, confidence, and new skills to individuals with support needs while helping our staff deliver truly person‑centred care.

We’re seeking someone creative, enthusiastic, and friendly, with great communication skills and a positive approach. If you enjoy being outdoors and bringing ideas to life, you could be the perfect fit!

As a Gardening Volunteer, you’ll spend time chatting with the people we support to understand their interests and help create meaningful, enjoyable gardening sessions. Activities may include planting flowers and vegetables, tending to beds, and helping keep our outdoor spaces tidy and welcoming.

If you love working with people, have a passion for gardening, and can spare a few hours regularly, we’d be delighted to hear from you! This role is based in an independent supported living service for adults with mental health needs.

Volunteer Duties
  • Support the people we support with gardening activities, including planting, watering, and light maintenance.
  • Provide people we support with practical assistance and encouragement whilst gardening.
  • Ensure all areas are tidied and tools are cleaned and stored appropriately after gardening sessions.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members.
  • Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries.
  • Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided.

Hours Flexible days, within working hours (between 9am and 5pm).
