We are looking for an Arts and Crafts Volunteer to provide meaningful companionship at our supported living service in Liverpool. Volunteering with Creative Support is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person‑centred care.
We’re looking for someone who is warm, sociable, and creative. As an Arts and Crafts Volunteer, you’ll spend time with the people we support, building friendly relationships and companionship through regular arts and crafts sessions. Activities may include:
- Helping to plan arts and crafts sessions
- Preparing materials (paper, paint, glue, templates, etc.)
- Setting up and tidying the activity area
- Assisting participants with activities such as painting, drawing, seasonal crafts
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members
- Understanding and working within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
- Attending regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and completing any training provided
