Overview: Creative Support is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual to join as Support Worker and lead a passionate and friendly team of staff to support individuals with learning disabilities. The role involves providing high quality, respectful, and person‑centred care and support to individuals in Leicestershire.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent person‑centred care and support to tenants.
- Assist and develop everyday living skills and participate in a wide range of activities.
- Encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives.
- Build a trusting and friendly rapport with all service users.
- Work within positive behaviour support guidelines and local and corporate policies.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
Qualifications:
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with superb communication skills.
- Ability to work within positive behaviour support guidelines.
- Experience or strong motivation to support individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work required shift patterns.
Training and Development: Full training is provided. Opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care and to complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate and Social Care Diploma.
